What kind of trips do you offer?

We offer a variety of trip options, including community and custom/private trips that explore the area by foot, canoe, raft, and/or 4 wheel drive. From a weekend getaway to a multi week expedition, we will teach all the skills necessary for you to safely canoe and backpack throughout the course of the trip. Additionally, we offer our private ranch as a retreat and venue for those who are looking to enjoy a remote location. Visit our trip page for details.

On lodge based trips we will have the pleasure of experiencing a variety of delicious meals with a Texas flare! While on the river and backpacking we still eat great with a variety of fresh and dehydrated foods. Being in the desert, we often have to carry our water and fill up at certain locations with a water tank that we then purify. We can also accommodate special dietary needs (vegetarian, vegan, food allergies, etc…)

Our lodge based trips offer indoor beds, spacious living areas, and multiple bathrooms with hot water and flushing toilets. Our camping trips largely depend on the quality of the personal gear you purchase or rent. For example, rain gear, hiking boots, tents, sleeping pads and bags, etc… However, our knowledgable instructors and staff are there to help and assist you on how to camp comfortably and travel safely.
